Well, they kinda tried that with BM64: The Second Attack, but nobody really paid too much attention to it. I think it was a great game, and the story (while not the most original tale I've ever heard) was epic and compelling... but I think by now people have associated bomberman with fun multiplayer action, and if it tries to do anything beyond that most people simply aren't gonna notice. Nobody wants to play Bomberman for the story; they just wanna blow stuff up. I hope someday bomberman will really come into his own in the world of single-player, but they're really gonna have to make it good for people to accept it.

Let me start off by saying I'm one of the hardest of hardcore bomberman live players. I'm currently 4th on the overall ranking and have played close to 35,000 games, my win percentage is around 42%

Meh, I'd put you somewhere in the realm of 10-15th rank. 8) That leaderboard needs reworked since it only goes by # of wins.

All the problems you listed have previously been brought to their attention.

It's been a year and I still haven't seen any substational updates. I no longer hold much hope for the progress of it.

So is there anything else in the works for B/man LIVE? Costumes, modes, features......? Peace, Love, and Bombs -Que5710n-

All I can say is, given the popularity of Bomberman LIVE over the past year, we've heard a lot of feedback about what's been working and some of the things that need improvement. Rest easy in knowing that we're serious when it comes to receiving feedback, and it's not going to waste =) Thanks for the question!

Let me start off by saying I'm one of the hardest of hardcore bomberman live players. I'm currently 4th on the overall ranking and have played close to 35,000 games, my win percentage is around 42%, and STILL can't get enough of the game! I have about 10-20 friends i play with on a daily basis, but it seems a day doesn't go by where we don't have to endure the glitches and disconnections. There are times in matches where one player will will be seeing a certain playing field while others will be viewing a separate field and because of this one of the players will be walking through the breakable bricks making him quite hard to kill. At times for what ever reason if the wrong person when a match his bomberman starts jumping around on the screen and then the host and everyone is disconnected. Also, here recently there's been several glitches while kicking bombs. Kicked bombs have been passing right through other kicked bombs moving towards each other or even bombermen. There's also one with line bomb and remotes, but ill have to ask about the specifics. Ohh one of the biggest is when two bombs end up on the same square, but there detonating time isn't the same. So, when the first bomb detonates you think it's clear and once you move the second one is right there to greet you. this happens in several different ways: line bomb that's trying to trap player 2 but player 2 lays a bomb when the line goes down; when you kick a bomb follow it then stop it and lay a bomb at the same time that will result in two bombs on the same square and that one can be done purposefully, which i do quite a bit. I know there's more I just can't remember all of them. I will try and rack my brain and come back to add more. So is there anything else in the works for B/man LIVE? Costumes, modes, features......? Konami owns Hudson, so, there's no problem there, but, as with a good majority of the games being released on VC, there's going to be legal stuff involved. For instance, they had to do a search of who owned Data East's properties(Silent Debuggers), which is some company called G Unit or G Force, something like that :D

Anyways, yeah, Pit Fighter was listed as coming soon/in the works along with Klax, Marble Madness, & Peter Packrat. Pit Fighter was to end up being a cd game. Who knows how far production got on it, maybe it'll leak out someday, cuz I doubt anyone would bother to finish making that game in this day & age, though, I'd love to see it.

Oh, as for WD, I'd assume that their stuff is owned by Gaijinworks, but, I don't even know what's up with Victor these days, I haven't heard a single thing about his new company doing anything at all in a few years now. I hope someday they can get back in the game(pun intended).

Aw, & Bonk's Quest, especially if they upped the ante on the graphics, maybe made it the equivilent of a super or arcade cd 8)
